I am looking at these wheels and tires.

I am a stock 2002 4x4 the tire converter has these at 31.6 x 10.43
From what I have been able to read on here a 31x10.50 will fit with no lift and no trimming. So would I be able to get away with these? I like the way it rides now but want of road tires. I am not going to be doing a lot of mudding or anything the majority of my offroading is logging roads to get to my hunting spots. Which I would probably be fine now.

Nice looking combo. Only thing that would concern me is the offset. According to wheel and tire calculator. 17X9 with O offset would mean 5" Backspace. I'm one of the few to use 4.5" Backspace, it makes clearance tight on the inside of the wheel. If you can find a wheel with at least a -12 on the offset, that will give you some more clearance on the inside.

Good luck, it only took me 8 months to find a wheel/tire combo that I was happy with.

Thanks I will contact the seller to see if they have other offsets. I have been looking and kind of have my heart set on these wheels. What about fitting without a lift will this size work if I can find am different offset?

Those look good any pictures on the truck?

With the wide tires, I would suggest something with a BS closer to 4.0." Generally the range I've seen run with the 265s is 3.75-4.25. Take a look around at tirerack and discouttiredirect. They often have wheel/tire combo sales.

If you love those wheels, you'd be safe running 1" spacers to make it work as long as you don't get the itch to get bigger tires in the future.

I definitely may want bigger tires in the future so what offset and backspacing do I need to look for in a wheel say 17x8 or 9.

The backspace and offset I listed for my 16x8 wheels are from the mfr's specs, not actual measurements. I don't see any potential intereference with the stock size tires. I think clearance issues will be more from the tire size/ wheel combo, so it may not be possible to make recommendations on wheels without knowing the tire size as well.

As a few have said 4" seems to be the sweet spot for ST. I have a 4.5 BS with a 17 X 9 with a 33 X 12.5 X 17 Tire. I really couldn't be happier.

Both look good could you have fit the 33s with just the bodylift

Tire size I'm looking at are 265/70r17 which is right around 31.5x10.50

You can fit 33s with the 3" BL on our trucks with a small but of trimming but not much more than of you were doing 32s with a 2"TT

My Trac with 31x10.5x15 and 2"TT

Those are the same wheels I have now except mine are 17x9 and I like them a lot. Looks like those will work for you.
