Wheel experts i need some help!

hey all, i have been talking to a guy on craigslist about buying a set of wheels from him. he says they are "16" 5 LUG RIMS CAME OFF A 2001 F150 CREW CAB". i like them because they have that old 8-hole crager look to them. they are 16's which is the size im looking for, but as for the lug pattern, will these fit on a 2003 ford explorer sport trac XLT? i know that the lug pattern on my ST is 5 on 4.5, but im not sure what they are on the truck he pulled these off of. also, i was going to buy all four of them from him for 175 bucks. does this sound like a good deal? any definitive help with this would be really appreciated, and could save me a trip a couple towns away.

NO. Different bolt patterns. A MyST member had F150 wheels on his Trac but he had to use wheel adapters to do the swap. Looked nice too!

Not sure but think it's 5x135mm, so they wont fit

thanks for the info. where would i go about getting wheel adapters, and how much do you think they run? would it be worth getting, and would i still be able to tow a boat or trailer with wheels that are on adapters?

If they are priced anything like the spacers you can buy, you are probably better off buying some other wheels unless you are getting the wheels for free. Maybe you can look into something like a Pro Comp Xtreme Alloys Series 1079 Polished Finish. They are similar and look nice. Should be able to get them for about $125 each shipped.
