a little over two years..maybe 30000 miles. I do buy the cheaper brand.

Cheap brand, thats the problem. Check rockauto.com. They had timken bearing/hub assemblies for my explorer for cheaper than the autozone crap at my local store.

EDIT:
I checked, the front hubs are about 108, the rears 99(assuming i read it correctly)
I paid 135 at my autozone for the crappy stuff. If you have the time order at rockauto, and search for the discount code on here.

Also be sure to torque the bolts to spec if you are the one installing them.

is it the same corner? Besides getting the timken, if its the same wheel, you might have a problem with the knuckle too.

I went and bought a better brand from a different store..Now, how do you take the emergency brake cable off with out taking off the shoes?

We carry the Timkin bearings and offer a 2 year warranty on them. If you need any help, just shoot me a PM.

Just some info for you here. My friend just order "Timken wheel bearing assemblies" for his truck from a place called "World Discount Auto Parts" and their web site is "wdautoparts.com". My friend told me this place gives you a "lifetime warranty" on these hub assemblies and he said they cost approx. $20-$25 more per hub than the next cheapest place he found. The other places he found for hubs, only gave 1 year warranties, so for the extra money, it might be well worth calling this place. I just phoned them myself prior to posting this message and double checked if they give lifetime warranties on Timken Hub bearing assemblies and the guy there said "yes"! I don't know all cities they are located in around the country, but they have 4 locations in Buffalo, NY area. You can find the phone numbers for each store/location at their web site and I recommend calling each one of them to see if the price the first one gives you, matches the next. Whatever store location gives you the best price, go with it.

World auto discount stores are only located in the Buffalo/niagara falls area. They will ship around the country. Minimum shipping is 6.50 for orders less than 65.00, and a 10% charge for orders over 65.00. There are no order minimums. Here's the address for the on-line catalog: www.wdautoparts.com.
They are usually cheaper than most places such as the dealership, autozone, etc. Theres also a place here caled LKQ/Keystone that is also pretty reasonable.
