Hi all
Has anyone had any experiance with wheel spacers on an Explorer?
I dont mean the 5mm shim type that uses the same wheel nuts but the billet type. If so what is the max width you can go to without causing problems? And can any body recommend a supplier and guide price here in the U.K.?
Thanks in advance for all help and comments.

Hi

I bought Eibach spacers for about £200 from www.motorsportworld.co.uk (Under Eibach pro spacers on suspension page)
Ive got 35mm both sides front and rear.

Had them on for about 18 months no problems. Looked around when I was first getting them and these were the only ones that looked well made to me.

Hope this helps

Rob

I've been running 1 inch wide billet wheel spacers on the front of my Explorer for 6 years now. They have never been a problem.

Thick gaz in sussex here again - just curious - whats the point of wheel spacers?

They push the wheels further to the edge of the vehicle, which is always a good thing.

More stable, etc.
