Nissanboy, it has been such a long time since I have been there. Last time I headed that way, I took 220 all the way to 49. But I do not remember any specific places other than the entrance! I could meet you somewhere, but you will have to name the place :D

hey guys, i dont know how many of yall are cbs, but do you think i need to install mine, will we be using them. -TJ

It wouldn't hurt. We used them quite a bit last Explorer run I went on. I am pretty sure the majority of us going have them. Plus it isn't a hard install.

alright, well since i have added the roof rack since my last cd install, what kinda mount could i use for the roof rack.I am going to put this in the ham section to but, didnt know if yall had a roof rack with a antenna mounted to it. Some one that was going on the last trip, sent me an im and told me the name of the mount, cause they knew i was going. Cant remember who that was. -TJ

I have a Surco rack with my antenna mounted to it. Any CB anteena mount should work. I can't remeber what the name of mine is. I bought it with the antenna. It bolts through one of the plates on your rack. I mounted mine to the farthest plate back on the driverside. Very easy to install. I mounted my CB under the dash and ran the antenna wire under the dash and up the a-pillar through the plastic molding along the headliner. And then out the rear hatch. I used a 20ft. antenna wire and it was barely enough just to let you know. Any other questions just let me know.
