as of right now i may have to come up saturday... or late friday night! and go straight to the camp site. i wont have time till friday to work on my steering. its either a hose or a pump... its leaking fluid like crazy, whining and such. but we'll see what happens!

Well, my truck is feeling a bit under the weather right now. I suppose it has something to do with this:

So, needless to say, when I get the front end "clunk" figured out, I will be staying away from the puddles.
I'd like to go sometime. Maybe meet my brother, who could come out from Knoxville with his Tacoma, which he has made quite off-road worthy.

Jimbo I hope you get everything fixed in time. My brother is definately comming now and he might even show up friday and camp. I definately won't be there until me and slravene show up around 9 sat. morning. I am ready. My step brother has an 89' xj with 4" lift and 32's and it is grey. With a High Country sticker on the back.

Ps: Riz you should be informed that that place is illegal and wheeling there gives all fourwheeling a bad name. Please let your friends know.

how do you know its illegal? (just wondering) have you been there or something? I'm not a fan of illegal wheeling either.

Well i have been there. But in general if you see some offroading in NC and dont recognize it as Croatan Ntl Forrest (mud), URE (reddish rocky), Tellico (big rocks and wet), and Carolina Beach (a beach) it is illegal.

frustating, when people sign up to work for you they should work, They people that were going to work for me friday and sunday, just dropped out, family emergency, so i am going to work in 10 minutes, i will try to find replacements,, grr had to take some anger out. -TJ

will i need to bring my Hi-Lift/shovels/etc? or is someone else got that? I dont have a good way of mounting them to stay secure is why i am asking.

slravene i have my hil lift mount to my roof rack. bring a strap and a tent at the min., hell bring everything you might need, we'll leave most at base camp

I have Hi-Lift, Cables, Strap, Extra Fluids, Zip Ties, Etc. Just about anything we might need.
