i just replaced my brake pads and tires. i had an alignment done on my car this morning, but my car still pulls to the right when i brake. if it's not my alignment what it is? is it cause of the new brake pads? any answer would help.

A caliper could be binding. Did you grease the slide pins?
tire pressure,
wheel bearings?

When replacing pads its always best to have your rotors resurfaced. Also make sure the calipers aren't binding. Bleed the brake lines also. Depending on how bad the old pads got you could have overheated the fluid causing it to be less effective. Also make sure the surface where the caliper contacts the hub is free of debris and burrs. I usally use some emery cloth. The same goes for the slide pin surfaces. Applying a conservative amout of lithium grease to those surfaces isnt a bad idea either. But don't use too much and DO NOT get any of the grease on the rotor or the pad.If you've done your own pads before this should be pretty simple for you and it really wouldn't take that long.
Doing all these things will greatly increase your stopping power and break pad life.
Hope this helps. Also, give the rears a check. Make sure they are up to snuff. Poor rear brakes overworks the fronts.

what does it mean to have binding calipers?

the brake caliper has a 'piston' inside of it that applies pressure to the pads, sometimes the piston doesen't move freely in and out, one side will stick a bit.
Another way they could bind is the caliper half that rides on the caliper slides. If the slide is dented or has a rough spot it'll catch.
