Where are all the Virginia Explorers??

I have seen the law waiting at the entrance to the one by the ampitheater catching people as they come out. The one across from the farmers market is private but there are some guys that have permission to go out there. dgibson on this forum knows them. There is another place out near Craddock off GW highway that some people have permission too but havent been there either.

sorry guys i kinda lost track of this thread. there are rumors that people have gotten tickets for going behind kmart, apparently the land is for sale now but i was out there on thursday and a cop drove by and didnt eve stop so i cant proove those rumors to be true or false. its rutted out now and isnt as fun as it used to be but still worth going out there if anyone else has a legal place i would be interested i just got my 31 mud terrains out on

Well, DominicanX, Boomin and I met up at the wheelin' spot across from the farmers market today, It was good times, real sloppy 'cause of the rain. Unfortunately I had to take off earlier than I wanted to 'cause my left rear tire got a puncture on the inside wall

Sorry I had to take off guys, my wife wants to go next time. I'm free most afternoons and next weekend if you guys are interested. Tomarrow though I will probably be repacking bearings and greasing the front end, changing oil and all that good stuff.

How does sunday sound again? I talked to Mike (DominicanX) and he said he is good for sunday. I ended up getting high centered in another rut after you left but other than that we had fun.

Hows about we start planning an Early spring run to GWNF or Some where else? What do you guys think? The 10th Anniversary run is in May or June I think. I would like to get out in early April.

Yes right across from the farmers market. Coming down princess anne toward the courthouse turn left on damneck and its an opening in the trees with an enterance about a 1/4 mile down on the right. Just stay to the left side at the beginning, ruts are kind of deep

I'll probably be able to make it Sunday, though not until a little after noon.. probably closer to 1:30.

Oh yeah, do we have permission to go out there. Just curious, I don't want to be appearing before a judge next month.

Chris, I'll def. be there on Sunday, and Josh I'm down for a GWNF run in April (assuming I won't be out of town...supposedly I have to go out of town for work either the whole month of Apr. or May)

Oh and We don't have "permission" but I have never had any problems going in or out of there with the law even while they drove past as I was coming out (bad timing). SOmeone on here said it was private...I thought is was city property cause of the power line but I dunno...I guess it's enter at your own risk.

Looks like a blast... makes me really anxious to get out there. One question, do you think I'll have fun on 31" m/ts there or will I be on the end of a strap too much? That looks deep with Chris' truck in it.
