Hey
I feel like an idiot for asking this but I just got my warrior shackles yesterday and I cannot find where to put them. I thought I would be able to find the place when I took the wheels off but I can't. I'm really new to cars and I'd appreciate some pictures because I'm still getting the names of the different stuff down.

Follow the leaf spring all the way towards the back of the vehicle. The "H" looking piece that its bolted is the shackle you need to replace.

They connect the rear of the leaf spring to the frame rail on each side (near the bumper)

Thats the warrior shackle. The top connects to the frame rail and at the bottom it connects to the left spring.Use this thread if you need help.

Thanks for the help. I installed it this afternoon with my friend and it looks great. The hardest part was bending the main leaf down to match up the bolt holes. Everything else was just kind of think about it and figure it out and then do it. It was alot of fun to figure things out and feel the glory of the completed job. This was my first mod to my explorer (besides the CB and PA) and I feel great.
I forgot to measure the wheel well before the job so I have no idea how much it lifted the explorer, but there is definately a noticeable change. I'd have to guess about an 1", MAYBE 1 1/2".
Anyways I'll probably try the TT next weekend, but I'm kind of digging the way the back end is up right now, makes my explorer look... what's the word? likes it's about to pounce or something, you know?

congrats, you did probally get 1 to 1 1/2 inches of lift in the back. when you do the tt make sure you measure. If you dont you can go to high and mees up the cv angle and end up doing some damage. not sure if you read up on it or not. if you havn't i suggest you read the thread "torrison twist 101"( type that in seach function to find it), if you have then have a good time completing the lift.
