where can i buy a shift control module for a 4x4 explorer

I bought one for mine, cant really remember where, but i think wasnt worth the money. I can look and see the brand for ya.

My 4x4 wont engage, took old motor off and checked to see if it would move when selecting 4hi and 4low and it didnt, plugged in reman motor I bought at adance and it didnt move either, used to hear clicking behind the dash now it has nothing

Lol sorry i thought you were talking for the tranny. If you bought a reman it could possibly be bad, you stated not hearing the relay click. I would check for power or a bad connection behind the buttons.

if you put your finger on the module and turn the selector switch you can feel a click, the 4x4 lights dont blink, the 4hi lights up as it should, the 4 low wont light up, it used to be a loud click but now you cant hear it unless I take my stereo out to access the module

assuming you did the normal checks. I would look for power and ground at the motor end. If not check about a foot higher. If the module is clicking you are atleast getting power, sounds like your losing it from there to the motor.

I did some research and reading, alot of reading. I found out about the gem module. I also have a problem with my dome lights, they wont go out until the battery saver kicks in, and it also controls the 4x4 stuff, the 4hi wont click at all, 4 low clicks sometimes but dont engage
