For those living in the LA/OC area, where do you buy your steel tubing?

This Co. will ship to your door. If it helps.

IMS=industrial metal supply has a few locations in so cal. Last time I checked with them they carry cro-moly and I think HREW but no DOM. I'd give em a call to make sure they have what you are looking for.

I've gotten a lot of my tubing (HREW) from Schorr metals in Anaheim, they also have cro-moly but again, no DOM.

RockRanger has gotten some DOM down where he lives but I can't remember the name. Hopefully he'll chime in;)

Onlinemetals.com has DOM but shipping will kill you or any other internet metal supplier.

That's it!! Schorr! I haven't built a bumper in years so I forgot the name. Is this the one next to the family fun center off the 91?

I use www.metalexpress.net for most of my small orders, or I go to their local store and dig in their "scrap" pile (pay by the lb) big orders are though local mill/tube supplier

I've used IMS for Chromoly (SAS steering) and HREW (front bumper) but it seemed like their prices sky rocketed when the price of steel started creeping up a few years ago. So I haven't bought any metal since then.

You take the same exit as the family fun center off the 91. The exit is Kramer/Glassell (one side is Kramer, the other is Glassel) coming from your direction, it's a couple miles down on the corner of Kramer and Orangethorpe right next to the 76 gas station.
