Recently I was once again on a mission to replace something I broke. I thought long and hard and finally came up with the two websites that I used for my Ford Replacement Parts.

For this particular case it seems FordParts.com is cheaper by $5.31 (shipping was NOT included in this estimate). I know I've dealt with both and havn't had problems either way.

I didn't find it in their parts search, but I'll e-mail 'em

THANKS!

Rusty has helped me find parts the others could not even find a number for.

local junkyards, torrie @ fpn, or jcwhitney

Does 'Rock' sell genuine ford parts?

Just an F.Y.I.

Your link to FordParts.com in the poll says PATS, not PARTS. As it currently is, clicking on it will not work.

As for parts, I use Torrie at fpn and have been happy. I'm always open to something/someone new, though.

LOL, nice catch, I can't change it so MODS PLEASE HELP!!!

junkyard, local dealer(company discount),e-bay..mostly the local dealer or junk yard

call around to local dealers. each charge different prices for parts. use the internet parts websites as reference for a base price.
oh and i use ebay :D

Most of the time, I go to a local NAPA place, the guys know me. I get 10% off with my AAA card. There is something to be said for having some kind of “repour”.
They will go out of their way to help, if you are a good customer. When I whine enough, they give me mechanic’s prices.

Swap Meets are great for tools, misc. stuff, fuses, wire and handy stuff to have around. I always get great deals ……plus you get to check out the old cars.

Most other inventory crap – like fluids and chemicals, spray can stuff, filters - WAL-MART

One day when I can plan ahead – I’m going to try the FordParts web sites. My last choice is going to the FORD dealer, unless I have to …..or there is a part I know I should get from FORD. They also give AAA and other discounts and ALWAYS ask for a discount.
