Where Exactly is my ECU

I got my apten chip and can't figure out exactly where my ECU is. Is it by the sticker in the engine bay that has my code on it, is it by the firewall by the driver side, is it on the passenger side? I've heard it's everywhere. But, it's not. I just need to know where it is, so i can put my dumb chip in.

Passenger side firewall under the hood but, just follow the wires!
