i go to my caravan in new romney which isnt far away from you ,ive seen 2 down that way .ive seen 2 in london on a trip to guys hospital and 2 around the slough areaand i parked at heathrow next to the runway everyother week?

Kernowman,

If you're ever popping by Pershore again then just give me a shout and come for a cuppa. There are at least 3 in the imediate area 2 red over grey and 1 green over grey.

If the one you saw had 4 lights on the roof then that would be me!

Might see you out and about

Cheers

Carl

Carl, I may well have been mistaken about the colour as it was raining and I was in the Jensen which was rather steamed up at the time - however, don't remember any lights on the roof, but I was quite low down and may have missed them.
Many thanks for the offer of a cuppa - will take you up on that if I ever get to Pershore again. Seems quite a good area for Explorers.
Richard

There's a good half a dozen at least around the Dagenham area including a couple of North Faces. :)

Ours (metallic dark blue) is running OK on lpg, only issue being we have to start on petrol else it races and dies for some reason. OK when it's warmed up though. Got some minor damage to the N/S rear we need to get fixed. Other than that it's been a good, comfortable, reliable workhorse. :)

I regularly see three besides mine in and around the Bridgwater area. One other green over grey like mine, one red/grey, one dark blue or black and in our village there is a pale sort of mauve colour Ex. This one I have seen close up though never met the owner and it appears to be in nice condition. I think there is another forum member in Bridgwater although I have never met that person. My Ex is a 97 USA spec LHD, it regularly turns heads, but that is because of the driving position! If any forum members see me flag me down and say hi!

saw 3 on the way back from the seaside on sunday ,1 in new romney , 1towing a caravan on the m20 (very slowly?)and another on the m25 heading toward heathrow way,as people say you wait for ages for one and three turn up (almost) together?

that reminds me of one towing on the QE bridge slowly, that was 3 weeks ago, and week n half ago 1 drove pass my house all in black with smiley face stickers all onthe back.

maybe its the same person still on the same journey and same tank of fuel lol, maybe if i google earth the next junction i might see it.no thats wicked i might have to drive like that one day he or she was just being careful id imagine?

It's my understanding that most LPG conversions start on petrol then switch to LPG once the engine is at temp. It is possible to do an 'emergency start' direct to LPG but the manual that came with my conversion does not recommend doing so. Guess thats why they called it emercency start procedure. Other systems may well be different.

no this was around 2pm all going toward heathrow driving clockwise

Saw a white over gray 99-01 on Upper Street in Islington this morning. Made me smile on the inside! I almost did over look it, seems so normal to me.

there's millions here in Canada.. my girlfriend thinks I'm insane cos I keep pointing them out.

I can't wait to bring my one over here and start lifting it n stuff!
