My 97 says it came with the "trailer prep"
but I can't find the wiring harness, it is not tucked up on the passenger side by the bumber nor is it in the rear drivers side compartment.
The relays are there, under the hood next to the battery and you can hear them click as the signals are blinking......
I am using one of those "Hoppy" T's to tap into the existing lights for the trailer but if the truck was setup to run through the relays than I would rather do that.

Any clue?

Thanks

My 97 is actually on the drives side, right behind the bumper because i'm always covering it wish mud, but that is where the "t" goes if that is what you are asking.

Happy trails!!

My '99's was is the same location.

That's where I put the "T" but according to the wiring diagram, the power for the regular lights doesn't go through the relays, there suppose to be a one ended connector wrapped up under the passenger bumper area but there isn't.

The T does work fr me but that is a lot of lighting from the camper to put onto the vehicle's system. I could buy the isolator adapter from "hoppy" but again, if the truck is equipped already....

Thanks

Mine seems to run the camper lights okay i guess. We don't use it that much, but it works great. Good luck.

Happy trails!!
