Where to buy rear cargo cover

Hey everyone,

The back of my explorer sport (99) has a place for one of those drape-type pulls to cover the cargo so people can't see what you have by looking in the windows. It self retracts when you want it rolled up. Where can I buy a beige/tan one?

Some people have them for sale on here in the for sale forum. Also they are always on ebay.

I just checked on Ford Parts Network, and it is $176 for mine and $210 for your cover. On ebay and this forum, you can usually get them for about $40 shipped, more or less.

I paid $30 and about $15 shipping to Canada no less. Brand new. eBay. They show up there all the time and pricing varies wildly.

I got one off of ebay for about $50 - $60. They go pretty quick and the shipping charges vary greatly so make sure you figure that into the price. It works but it pulls pretty tight - more so than the last one. Just remember that they come in different sizes to be on the safe side get one that is for your model / year X. I got mine from a different model year.

Thanks for the replies. I looked on eBay, but didn't know what to search for. I was doing "Explorer rear cargo" and "explorer cargo cover".

2 door, 4 door. They're all the same. I think you're at least looking for any cover that fits most Explorers between 95-01. Not sure if the '01+ Sport has the same cover or not.

Here is one on eBay from a great seller. I scored my OEM rear spoiler from them. Unfortunately, I think their reserves tend to be on the high side. I think it's at least $50 for the cargo covers. They really are nice people to deal with and you'd still get it a lot cheaper than the prices elsewhere. Brand new in the box. They often run Buy it Now auctions for this piece.

I need one as well, as the tension is gone on mine (maybe the springs popped). Anyone know is this can be fixed?
