Hello,

I need 2 tires for my expl. it is good year wrangler rt s p235/75r15.

do you know of any online places to get them relatively cheap? Any experience with ordering online for tires?

How much (estimate) do places charge to put change tires for you. (bringing them the tire and just asking for changing it on the wheel?)

Thanks,

i have purchased 2 sets from Treadepot.com here recently. cheaper than tirerack, excellent service, and quick shipping. But I did install and balance them myself.

I do all my tires from tirerack and I pay $12 per tire for mount/balance and valve stem per tire at the local tire shop.

I am gonna go check out treadepot.......thanks!!! ;)

Oh.......and I personally don't care for the wrangler RTS tires.......never get good wear out of them........but I never had them on an explorer.......maybe they will be better for you.

Around my area, either places are about $15-25 per tire to mount and balance (plus valve stem and disposal) or they just won't do it because they sell tires.

You can also try junk yards. Some of them install used tires so I doubt they'd care much about losing the $20 for a used tire.

Tirerack & Discounttiredirect have been very good to work with. Have ordered alot of tires from them both if you like going the internet/ordering route.

I buy from Tirerack.com...

and have them mounted, balanced, and rotated quarterly at Walmart for 7.50 per wheel...And this is a lifetime balance...
