What are some good sites to buy tires from? I already tried tirerack and they wouldn't sell me the tires I wanted because of the whole firestone thing.

Find the tire you want and just tell them it is for an 03 ex.
TR has this wierd policy toward EXs.
I talked via phone to a service rep a couple weeks ago about some tires for my 03, no problem with selling to me at all, I asked about the EX policy they have and the reply was:We will not sell tires to anyone owning an EX 98 or lower, they have suspension problems.
Asked what the problems are, no answere, is just our store policy, sorry.

thanks... the guy called me and told me something about an agreement with ford and whatnot. i'll just leave it unspecified vehicle and if they end up asking i'll tell them an 03 explorer. thanks again for the help.

discount tire direct, I haven't ordered yet but they beat tire racks prices. Atleast on the bfg's I want

Also if your buying un-mounted tires, what I did was find the best online price, printed it out, went down to wheelworks and they price matched, worked for me

My local Discount Tire will price match online, but after shipping. I had them price match Treadepot when they had free shipping on tires.

Check with Summit Racing after you figure out which ones. They have free shipping, but have a small handling fee, and surcharges might apply to some tires. Might be a better deal, might not.

I bought my Pro-comps from 4wheelparts.com
Shipping is free on the weekends!

4 Wheel Parts, National Tire and Wheel, Tire Rack, Discount Tire... there are a bunch of places online to order from. Best thing to do is find the tire and size you want and call them all. I got my tires cheapest from National Tire and Wheel after telling them the other quotes I got. They matched the lowest then gave me 7% off and free shipping.
