Okay, so I need to find carpeting to use on my false floor amp rack. I am looking for something that resembles the stock trunk carpeting, NOT the type of material/texture that you would use to cover a sub box.

Anyone know where I could find something like this? So far I have found two products, but I am not sure what their texture would be like:

OZITE Replacement Carpet

Universal Trunk Carpet

If anyone can give me any opinions/input on either of these two products, or knows where I can find OEM-style, non-molded (in a roll) carpeting, please post.

Thanks

hancock fabric stores can get it on request

Hancock fabric stores? There aren't any of those around here. As for Select Products, is that stuff like the OEM trunk carpeting or just a sub box carpeting?

then go to a regular fabric store. it'll be a hell of a lot cheaper than select products.

Go to a wrecking yard, and find an Explorer with the same interior as you, and take the carpet from it. Just remember, 91 has a slightly different color compared to other years.

The problem with my false floor is that it is going to completlely cover the wheel wells, so I need a piece of carpeting that is wider than normal... Stock size out of a wrecked Explorer's trunk will not work. I'll try out the fabric store suggestion and let everyone know how it goes. Pics of my new system should be up by next Friday, assuming I can get the carpeting and plexiglass that I need to finish it by next Wednesday or Thursday.
