Realy? I just used Word. I drew it in a CAD program I have but you would have to have some kind of CAD viewer to look at it but its pretty much the same.
Well today another setback. I was driving down to Northern tool and notice that my volt meter was hardly reading anything. Checked the alt output and it was only showing a hair over 10 volts. When I remove the wires from the alt and hook the output back to the main battery I get my 14 volts. According to the directions you should not have any continuity between the alt post and the heat sink. Mine is shorted Took it back to pep boys and got another. So the saga continues.
How many amps was that isolator that burned out? Did you replace it with one of the same rating, or a higher current rating? How has it been since you replaced it?
The one that burned out was a 140 High performance NOCO. The one I replaced it with is a 140 NOCO standard perf and no problems. My alt is now putting out 15 volts. I moved some of my extra stuff over to the other battery.tried my winch a few time a couple of weeks ago. Things seem ok.
