I don't have my Explorer just yet, but I'm making a list of all the mods right now. The first things I want to put on are a polished billet grill, clear corners with blue bulbs, and altezza tails. Does anyone know where I can get any of those? I've heard that the altezzas are pretty hard to find... are there any online stores that usually carry them?

What year are you getting? Altezzas are only made for 98-00. Clear corners for all four corners should not be a problem.

So far my list includes clear corners which I'll get from pacifice.com, altezzas from the same(98 exp), billet grill from Trenz, and a front air dam from Truck Performance. I forget what they call the air dam I was looking at, but its the curvy one.. seems like they called it the "Eclipse air dam." Then I'm going to tint the front windows to match the stock rear tint, and drop it as much as I can with the torsion twist and drop blocks. From there I'm going to build the system. The only definite parts of the system so far will be 2 IDMAX 12s ported to 27 Hz and 2 JBL 1200.1s.

do not do altezza's... they leak. just fyi. look at this...

This may just be the set i bought but i have a set of clear corners from pacificie.com and they have turned a light greenish brown. i just ordered a new set made by tucan yesterday to try a different brand.

Damn, so the altezzas that every company makes for Explorers leaks? Wtf is up with that? Do they think Ex owners don't care? Ok, so nobody has had a pair that does not leak, but they still cost 175 bucks. What about the clear corners, can anyone attest to those? I want to put some blue-ish bulbs in there and make them nice and sparkly, but if everyone's clears are turning brown, then I might as well forget messing with the exterior of my Exp.

my clears look great. and i've had em for six months. just look up for a picture.
