Hey guys,

So I'm looking into putting a PA system into my X. A friend of mine put one into his F-150 and he doesn't have the center piece in the front so he could just put it in the middle under the dash. My question is where do you guys think I should put it? I've thought about putting it under the dash on the driver side or someone else suggested I put it on top of the dash. If anyone has pictures of where they mounted their CB radio please post them and give me your opinions. Thanks

Harrison

can you fiberglass? Ive seen some absolutely amazing fiberglass things done with it, looks almost stock, and even if you dont, I wound say on the center console in the roof, or in the console compartment, also, if you have a single din HU, you could put it in the second din :D

i cant do fiberglass... maybe I'll put it in the center console though, that sounds like a pretty good idea

I put mine in the center console. I got an after market radio though (alpine). I like my setup a lot, though it looks a bit shabby. I put the mic rack right into the dash as you can see in the pictures. And i just wired the power into the aux cigarette lighter. It's a nice setup, hope these pictures help. Also, I had to use a dremel to cut the piece of plastic just under the vents to squeeze both the CB and deck in.

I have an aftermarket pioneer headunit so maybe I will be able to fit it in there. I like your setup a lot. I guess I will check to see if it will fit in the center console where you have it with my headunit. My friend and I are going to install it once we both have time to go get all the stuff we need.

Keep the ideas coming. Thanks guys.
