Which brake pads ????

I tow a popup camper with my 98 Ford Explorer and need to know which brake pads to use. This is the Autozone page of available pads:

I have a 92, and a 94 and I put the best autozone had @ $30 a set, and they only last 25k, I would suggest that if you buy those with a lifetime warranty, that you check your front brakes @ 22k or so because if they fail, you have to either replace your rotor or turn it.

I have the $19.99 break pads from Autozone with the same lifetime warranty. I change them every year just before summer for free. I don't put much mileage on mine so it just works out. I never see the need to upgrade to anything else.

If you tow I would imagine you would need something a little stronger. That $30 set might just do the trick for ya. Although I have never tried it.

Another vote for the PFC carbon metallic. I have probably 40k miles on a set of them and theres still more than half the pad left.
