Which Intake is Better?

K guys, so what do you think is best preformance gain for your dollar? The KKM http://www.kustomz.com/cat2.html

Also, is having an exposed filter like these safe in the dusty conditions of off-roading??? Please advise.

Neither one is better than the other if you ask me. I cant justify spending $200 for the custom intake. Your best bet is to go with the KKM intake. You cant go wrong for $90.

it isnt my money but i would get the $200 one becuase no one else has one....then you could tell people"yeah custom intake"yada yada yada!

get k&N air filter thats good but if your really against that just get kkm its much cheaper since its not certified and not smog legal in california. i was planning on getting rid of my K&N and getting a kkm with a new mas because supposedly a mas will not work on the 96 airbox

the KKM is a lot cheaper and does the same thing, that makes it better

The new intake MIGHT be a little better than the KKM due to BETTER flow of air.

However, I am very happy with my KKM as it is.
