whats up everyone, i'm new to the site, and i have a question.

i have a 2wd 2000 explorer xls, and i would appreciate any advice on which lift kit i should go with.

I want to be running my bilstein 5100's in it, but i just need to get the lift picked out first.

thanks to all, i appreciate your time. :D

About what size lift are you looking for, what tires do you want to run?

Oh, and what's the budget?

4-6" lift, 33" tires, and i'm looking for a not extremely expensive lift, but i won't pick a ****ty lift over a slightly more expensive better one.

For a later 2wd:

Front: 2wd 3" lift spindles: ~$500
2-3" added torsion twist: free

Rear: SOA (spring over axle) swap for 5-6": ~$100-300.

That should fit 33x12.50s just fine, maybe with a bit of trimming.

who makes the 3" spindle lift? i saw one from fabtech .. but

and about the torsion twist, i did that a few weeks ago, but i only got like 1" off of it, how did you get 2-3?

Just depends how much adjustment you have left on the stock adjuster bolts. You can get longer ones if you need.

If you don't want to do the spindles, then 2" TT/shackles and 3" body lift and trimming will fit 33s.
