I'm replacing my totaled Hickey Hoop Grilleguard with one of these

I used to have Hella 500 Fog Lamps on the old grille, but they got totaled along with the grille. I'm not sure if the same lights are going to look good on this new grille. What do you think? What other good lights are there? I'm looking for something really bright. Something that will move traffic out of the fast lane at night :)

Nice choice on the grille guard. Looks pretty sharp. As for the lights, I have been impressed with the pair of PIAA 520 SMR clear fogs that I installed on my girlfriend's RAV4. They throw a nice, wide, and bright spread of light. They are also available in a driving light configuration, which throws more of the bright light farther in front of the truck, instead of low and to the sides (may be more effective at the moving traffic function). Either one will run you about $200 but they are well worth it for their quality in construction and performance.

Ouch, I don't think the insurance company will spring for something that much. I'm looking for something more in the $80 range. But the one thing I was concerned with is the rounded lights as oppoced to the square ones. I really like the look of the lights they have pictured on the grille but those arn't that bright from what I understand. Would the same Hellas' look ok, even though they are round? They worked with the old grille 'cos it had more of a round feel to it, but I'm not so sure about this one.

Thanks

Personally, I think both the square style or round style lights would look fine on a grill guard like that. It's just an opinion thing really. If you had good luck with the Hellas you had before and you liked them, I say slap another set on there. You probably already have all the Hella wiring still there. I believe that the round lights would look just as good as square ones.
