The dealer slapped a new one on mine about a year ago for $25.... still fine with no cracks or anything..... i would go with a name brand though.... i suggest motorcraft. Go to the dealer. The dealer's work is all warrantied too, so if something goes wrong, just take it back and they'll take care of it... GOOD LUCK man!

Yeah they want $110 dollars to put a belt on. I dont think so.

dont go with the cheap one. i learned my lesson the hard way. I bought a belt for 16 bucks and paid a garage $20 bucks to install it. it snapped in 6 months on the highway and left me stranded in the middle of connecticut. i had the dealer install a new one and 2 years later its still holding strong. I think i paid about $80 at the dealership.

i put a goodyear gatorback on mine. those babies rule. they are real thick and even sponsored by nascar..woohoo :D . just install it yourself or with a buddy. get a good one though. my stock belt didn't even pale in comparison to the goodyear one.

aplha, i wanted a gatorback but the closest place that sells them is 30 minutes away and i need to go pick it up this evening on my dinner break. I have heard good things about them though.
