Which speedo gear?

I am "upgrading" from 235/75's to 31x10.50's and I need to know how many teeth my speedo gear should have to read the speed and mileage correctly. I have the 3.73LS rear-end.

Also, if someone has seen or done a write-up of how to change the gear in a '94 or similar, please let me know the link to it.

there is someone on the boards that has changed his speedo gear before...for some reason i want to say it was ld50 but i dont know off hand. keep bumping this once a day and maybe whoever it was will chime in

This info is a little old and may not be totally accurate, but it shows the install:

You'll need a gear with one less tooth than what you have now. No way to know for sure what you have until you look.

I've changed mine about 4 times and it is very easy.
