I have a whistle/rattle under hood on my 2006 Explorer Limited (sounds like an old gym whistle with the hole covered). The noise is proportional to how much I'm on the gas, and it gets quieter as I de-celerate.
The local dealership said there were some TSBs on this, and already replaced a hose, and the muffler/tailpipe assembly. Neither of these fixed the problem and I'm ready to go to another dealership at this point.
Anyone have a similar issue and if so, what fixed it?
