I've searched about this topic but didn't come up with what I needed to know.

Is there a company that makes the A/C panel overlays for 2nd gens?

Is the only way to get these is by printing them on paper and sticking them over the stock gauges? If so, can someone send me the EXACT print size needed & how to make it look stock?

Just get one from an '01 or '02 Sport or Sport Trac. They're much better quality than any aftermarket ones. Plus, they're often on eBay.

Oh Yea, I always keep them in the same direction when off. Also half the time with they are on, I keep them at the same angle.

my girlfriend always laughs at me for doing that- glad to know i'm not the only one, either :p

I do the same thing! It's irritating when they're not lined up! :D My GF laughs at me too! (Our chicks should start some sort of forum where they can talk about us like we talk about our Explorers). :D

I dont do that because I'm afraid of my blend door breaking. I move the temp knob as least as possible. Actually, when it gets too hot in the car, I put it so it only comes out on the floor on the lowest setting, then when that gets too hot I shut if off. I hardly ever change the temp knob.

Do you really worry about it that much? That is sad!

Yes, I do. I already had to pay over $100 to have it fixed once (and that was 80% off the regular cost). They say the new part is better, but....
