i just go my white face gauges and installed them. took a couple hours to break it all down and get it going but was a smooth easy job. i also bought a silver bezel that goes on top. the gauges i have came wit a power inverter to change the color of the numbers...i have no idea where i shoudl mount it or anythign right now its just hanging. i have auto headlights too so inorder for my gauges to come on i have to turn on my headlight manually. what wire can i connect it to in order for automatic turnon.

how much and where did u get the white face gauges?

same^^^^

you might be able to connect a couple wires so it automatically goes on with everything else

i got my white faces off ebay for 30 and they were the 1 color deal.....i think the wire to splice into is the white one.......if not that splice it into some interior light...such as the light for the ash tray.....
heres a really crappy pic of mine

Do you find that at night its too bright? Im debating if i should get one of these.

i bought mine off ebay...its just that the inverter box is bulky and i have no idea where to put it. i would like it to be hidden

there not to bad....i dont mind them.....but if you tie them into the correct wire you can dim them with the stock dimmer switch. I put the bulky "brain" device(the think that all the wires comming off the gauges plugs into) next to the heater and ac vent. It fits fine and it does not interfeer with the vent.

i just took everything apart and atttached the wires to the illumination wire i used for my led lights which will go on auto. it took me 5 hours becuas ei ran into so much truoble. everything was going wrong, wires coming apart, screws falling every where, needle keeper breaking....uhh im glad im finished and it is amazing with a dead battery to add to it all. hahah

haha my battery died durring my insatll too.

old topic i know. mine had a dimmer switch attached to the "brain" that routes down to where the hood latch is. And yes it's way too bright on full blast, i had to dim mine down alittle so i didn't get so much glare from it... couldn't see out the window...

To CISURFER:

when you broke off your needle keeper, how did you fix it? i did the same thing and actually cliped off the end of another one and super glued it to the one i broke off and it still works, but i want to know if i could just pick some up somewhere or something. thanks alot

i just superglued it back together and you cant tell it was broken.....now heres a question...sometimes my rpm guage and speedometer will get stuck in one place and then skip around until i hit it a couple times.

mine dont do that, i have about 2 mm clearance on my needles... i did notice that around 50 mph yesterday it jumped alittle when deaccelerating, but only that once...

Yea, i forgot to tell you, i broke it off and LOST it!! lol, it sucked... that's why i had to cut another one up...

You should check the clearance under the middle of the needle where it attaches to the "pin" mine were sticky when I did it the first time, but i just kept raising them until they stopped doing it. I've got the reverse indiglo ones and i love them not too bright at all and they look awesome. As far as where to put that box thing I just stuck mine behind the dash under the stereo, I had a lot of room in there for it.
Here's mine (just ignore the check engine light I do :D )
