I'm thinking of ways to improve the look of my tail lights, because my blackouts really aren't cutting it. The Expedition pictured below gave me an idea that I think is worth trying. I want to get clear tails, and then color match some slotted taillight covers and put them on the clears.
I DO NOT want to use the cheap looking slotted tail light covers that are sold at Wal-Mart, etc. With that being said, I was on the highway the other day and I saw some really classy taillight covers (kinda like the ones pictured below) that have about 5 or 6 horizontal slots on them. These tail light covers would be perfect for my project, but I've searched high and low and I cannot figure out who makes these. I hope I described these suckers enough so that someone can identify them.
BTW, doesn't this Exped look awesome!?
