Who can rebuild an Explorer engine for me???

I know it's probably a daft question but I am looking for someone who can rebuild an Ex engine.
We bought a non runner - Cam chain guide snapped but no damage to engine apart from that for spares which we have stripped off but are keeping the engine & gearbox and my OH wants to get the engine rebuilt with new cam chains etc to go in mine when it breaks!
We do have a Cam tool ( have loaned it out onec already on this forum) but it's beyond our capabilities to do the rebuild without help.

Can anyone offer assistance or recommendations please?

Just be prepared the rebuild kit for the SOHC is quite the pricey peice. It was cheaper for me to purchase a low miles engine than to rebuild my engine.

explorer parts uk have a few engines- may do a swap save the hastle, I sis see a brand new one on e bayuk also! BRAND NEW!

[I did have a brand new SOHC engine 2 weeks ago, but the first person who saw it had me fit it to their Explorer]

I can do everything else on an Ex- but have never done an engine- I would risk my own for the learning curve but not yours!
YOu know- if you feel brave and having the timing tools, I bet it could be done at home- great that you dont have to do it in a rush!
