who else got another round of tire recall notices

, made a huge deal about the spare tires this time, did they do anything about the spare tires when they first were recalled(I guess some people didnt bring their vehicles in because they didnt look at the spare)?

ive had my navajo for 4 yrs or so an never gotten a notice i know i have one as a spare.

didnt firestone realise navajo an x are basically the same ??

my mom got one early this year from firestone/bridgestone saying to check the spare and if it was the recalled spare to take it to a ford dealer to have it replaced free, i wonder how they got her name adrress etc? she bought it used at a used car lot, not a ford dealer, and never bought tires for it... i still havent got one yet and its been about 8 months

My '97 X had Goodyear Wranglers on it when I bought it and my '98 X had Michelins.

I have since put Cooper Cobras on it, but if Firestone wants to give me a free set of tires, I'm down for it. I doubt that'll happen though.

If you buy from a Dealership, sometimes they will update the owner record to the Auto manufacturer. So that if there are any recalls or problems, the newer owner can be notified.

I have a FireStone spare that is supposed to be not covered by the recall. Luckily we don't use it too much. Used the spare only once in the past 4years. And that's just to take the truck to the tire repair center.

I got one of them notices about 6 months ago and i had purchased my X from a used car dealer too bad i had already taken off the OEM tires and put 33's on it

I just got another one of those notices too. My spare was changed the first time around. 5 Firestones for 5 Goodyears.

I got another one , i swear I have the same amount of paper here now that it would take to make a phone book. Even on an old Explorer that had the recall done at a Ford dealer got another letter

Not sure what they would be sending out or who would be sending it... the 01B77 Wilderness A/T recall expired March 31, 2002, and the 00L09 recall was just to apply a sticker to the door frame indicating the higher inflation pressure recommendation on the 15" tires.

Which recall notice is specified in the paperwork they sent you?

OMG I actually opened it and read it, its about the previous one LOL, it says i was mistakenly sent the U.S. version when i first posted, its still saying if I have any of these tires they will be replaced for free, its also telling me to check my spare tire rack, my spare tire, and my spare tire compartment, so basically any tire i randomly find I guess
