Thanks guys definiatly going with the 2 inch lift first then after awhile i can go bigger. Sounds good to me anyways haha. Thanks.
That was my origional plan with my old '92. Added a 2" lift (spacers and shackles) some 31's and wheel it until I wore out the 31's then go bigger. Well as they say, "the best laid plans........" I never got around to going bigger. With the 31's and a rear locker I took that poor thing through places it never should have gone. Every time I thought about going bigger I'd take it out and have so much fun showing up the built rigs that I never felt the need to go bigger.
IMHO, 2" lift, 31's, a rear locker and knowing how to pick the right line will get you 99% of the places you want to go. Unless you run mostly in mud or extreemly rutted trails. If thats the case I'd go with 34x9.50x15 Swampers (cut fenders to fit) instead of the 31's.
