You are going to have to ask them if a relay harness is included with the HID kit. Sometimes they are when they come from these types of sellers.

I got mine specifically for the performance. The looks were a secondary consideration. I think looks wise they really make the Mountaineer look allot newer than it is and they look really good. But if they didn't improve the night time lighting they would have been pulled right back off and sold.

Someday I will fine tune the alignment on them and finish up documeting the light output on my other thread. Then I will try the HID's I got for the low beams. I may even see if I can find some 100W Halogen H1's to put in the high beam spot.

You can always put better quality bulbs in the ones you see on ebay. That's what i'm going to do. I don't like the projectors at all..

I don't use junk E-bay bulbs. I've got Sylvania Xtra Visions in my headlights.

I like the way the way the housings look that i put the links on above but i don't want their bulbs i will by the best bulbs you can get for them..

So if I buy "Sylvania Xtra Visions" bulbs off of ebay for half the price of buying them at the auto parts store, does that automatically make them junk?

:shifty_ey

I think you know what I mean... :D

I was just saying, I'm not running any of those junk ebay blue coated bulbs, and I still hate the output of the OEM style clear housings. OEM housings or projectors are best.

So you don't think the "Sylvania Xtra Vision" bulbs would look good with the clear housings? Do they make projector headlights that don't look like "flashlights"?? If they do i would buy them..

It isn't a matter of looking good or not. I am talking about the beam pattern. And no, that is what projectors look like.

so far I wound up installing just one headlight, I was under the weather that day, and I only have the H1 bulb in there. it is a lot brighter than stock, but I need to adjust it and being it down. I am going to install the rest of the gear on Sunday and add some pics.

FWIW the H1s are a lot brighter than stock.

Also, even though these are "Sonar" headlights they arrived in a box from Spyder, which was one of the original brands I looked at but could not find enough info about.
