It looks like my 94 with 107K miles has fell victim to a blown head gasket.
Loss of coolant, sweat exhaust smell at start up, mild white smoke at start up and white powdered plugs. I was going to do a leak down but I’m pretty sure that will not tell me anything encouraging.
It didn’t develop any idling or starting problem and the plugs had only a very light white powder. It did run a little sluggish. I hope I caught it early.
I know antifreeze can reek havoc on an engine cylinder walls, with that:
Anyone have any thoughts on how to determine what damages it may have caused, where to look for it or, maybe even, what to replace while it is apart- before I start tearing it down?
Thanks
