WHY are there different sections for 02-05 and 06-up?

Why are there two sections for the 2002-2005 and 2006-up models? They are pretty much the same vehicle with only minor changes.

engine, tranny, tansfer case i believe is different, different front end, interior thats about it that i can think of

different V8, different trans on V8, different interior, different electronics, different front/rear end, different std/opt features, etc.

Same reason the 91-94 and 95-01 have diff forums. Just because they look the same for the most part doesn't mean they are.

What has been changed? The rear of our 07 looks identical to the 02 we had before it.

Different A-arm mounts, as well as shock mounts...my dads gen 4 is radicaly different than my gen3.

3rd gen... 4th gen... who cares if they are seperated ???

having them seperated = less search times for info your looking for...

ie - why should i have to look through 06' info to find out something about an 03' ??

Isn't the interior on the 06+ a major switch from the 02-05?

Very much so. I don't think there is anything the same aside from the headliner and upper pillar plastic.
