Why don't they stick out???

Hi, I have a 97 Explorer with tt/AAL+Shackles. I have 31x10.50 BFG AT TA KO's. I am wondering why my tire doesn't stick out more of my wheel well. I like the look, and want it to. Like the Tacomas you see. Any suggestions.

either the tire isnt wide enough..... or you need wheel spacers or a wider rim with less backspacing

Are you running stock rims? I have M/T with only 3.5" of backspacing and they stick out! Every rock in the road flies up and hits my doors. I have probably 100+ little rock chips on the side of my truck.

I would trade you any day for the wide looking tires, MINUS the rock chips.
