why was I reprogrammed?

While looking over my newly aquired 98 v-8 AWD, I noticed a sticker in the engine compartment, which as best as I can read says:
reprogram PCM to F8PF-12A650-DPA

What gives?

There was probably a software update for your computer. It's nothing to worry about it's a common practice.

Those are the stickers the lady terminators leave when they reprogram machines to kill their owners.... Kill your truck before it kills you!
