Sounds to me like noise from the alternator make sure you ran your signal cables on the opposite side of your truck.

you might try a ground loop isolator, try radioshack, they are like 15 bucks. i cant properly diagnose it if i cant hear it, but does it have any kind of lope, like the motor? if yes, defianently go get one.

i have this same problem. i am going to replace my negative cables on my battery cause i have heard that might cause it too. but running the signal cables on opposite side, i dont know much about stereos, which wires can't cross with which? thanks.

All my signal wires run down the right side. Underneath the plastic at the edge of the carpet at the doors. My power for my amp runs down the left side of my truck in the same place. My power and signal wires are seperate and I have no noise.
