Ok, I have a 2k1 explorer sport, not a sport track, just an ordinary sport. But I hate the roof rack!!! I loved the old roof racks they used on all the explorers. Its a pain in the ass to get an adaptor for my surf/snow boards... The old rack was perfect, just clip on the little thule rails and you were in business, now you need to get all these adaptors that aren't very aerodynamic, and look sorta bulky.
Bottom line...Is it possible to take the rails, and rack from a 99' sport and bolt it onto a '01? That would solve my problem I think. I'm sure thats a very rare thing for someone to do, but if anyone knows a place I could call or go that might know I would appreciate it... Thanks
