ok, here it goes. I want to change all the little lights in the cabin to blue instead of green. (ex. arrows on power window and lock switches, headlight switch...)

When I was installing the white A/C guages, I noticed that the green lights in the heat and A/C knobs (the ones that light the little hash on the knob itself) are from a white light behind a piece of green plastic.

2 Questions: Does anyone know if all the little interior lights are green from the same method? and has anyone ever changed the color successfully? Thanks in advance.

There are some guys here and on ranger boards that have swapped in LEDs and other lights to change the color. As i recall, it was quite a big project

As far as I know factory lights are clear. The color is from the green plastic.

I guess I'm lucky as I have a 1996 with blue. My favorite gauge colors are red, blue, and green in that order.

do all 96's have blue? If so, I could just find a junk yard with a wrecked 96 and pull all the knobs and switches.

3 of 3 1996 X and Mountys I have seen all have blue interior lighting.

i had a 96 eb x and it was green lighting

My '96 is green too! I didn't know they had blue. That's coo! :D
