My 2002 explorer is getting up in miles. I have had the truck since new. I have done motor swaps on older cars with no problem. What I need to know is, if I get a motor/trans out of a newer explorer (2005) will it bolt into my 2002. Did they change any sensors or linkages over the years (2002 - 2005)?
