Will a -44 offset wheel fit?

I recently traded my crown victoria for a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. It came with these god awful 24” rims and I absolutely hate it. I found a set of wheels that are 15’s by 10.5 wide. They have a -44 offset though and i am just wondering will they fit on a stock height explorer. And if so what tire size would you recommend? Im fine with trimming as long as its just the plastic. Has running boards but plan to remove them.

Just as a edit i want as much tire as i can fit without too much headache work.
