Will a 4dr rear seat fit in a 2dr?

I've been thinking of the idea of making my 96 Sports rear seat a 3 seater. Will a rear seat out of a 4dr fit in its place? I have a baby on the way and would rather put her car seat in the middle. Thanks for any info

I believe the widths are not quite the same. I doubt it will fit without modifying the interior side panels. Definitely not bolt in by any means. The shape of the floor may also cause some issues.

Thanks for the reply. I just found a couple old posts saying that it's not possible, mounting points are totally different
