Hi, ready to pickup a 95 4x2 tranny and wondering is it a direct fit on my 95
4x4 since I've got the transfer case and driveshaft and all. Is there anything internal stuffs I need to swap out? Guy asking 400.00 for it and holding it for a couple of hours. If lots of internal deep configurations is need to swap over I'll pass on it. Thanks for any inputs.

You need to swap the rear output for the 4wd version.. Basically remove the 4wd output from your broken one and swap it over to the 2wd ones..

Just picked it up. Removed the tail section on the 4x2 and the 4x4 tail housing do not fit. Output shaft on the 4X2 is too long. Does this means I have to completely disassemble (both tranny) the whole tranny to get the 4x4 output shaft and transfer it to the new one? Is there another easier way maybe? Think it's a little challenging never took a tranny completely apart before.

Should be able to swap the tail section over.. ie the output shaft & stuff.. You have to take apart the tranny to do it

I was afraid of that but there's always a first. Which rebuild diary pertain to my transmission since I do not see a 4R55E section? Is it the 5R55E or the A4LD rebuild dairy? Thanks.
