Will aftermarket rims from a 08 ranger work for my 05 explorer

My grandfather has a 2008 ford ranger FX4, its a sweet truck. He hates the custom wheels that the last owner put on it. So I want these wheels bad! Will they work for my explorer? They are a 16" wheel.

And do you thik they'll look good on my explorer. Here's a pic of it:

if there on a ranger they should fit your explorer. as long as the bolt pattern is the same and there 5 lug. the explorer came with 16" rims that year. they r nice looking!

Same 5 lug pattern. I just need to find a set of 16" ranger rims. I know the last guy who owned the truck, maybe, by chance, he'll still have em. Worth a shot.

Do you happen to know the backspacing, offset, and width of the custom wheels? The bolt pattern is the same so they will bolt up just fine to your Explorer, but that alone doesn't mean they will actually fit...

I don't know, but I looked online and here's the specs. My grandfather bought the truck used with the wheels so I don't know anything other than they are called shooter black

OFFSETS: +10MM & +12MM
B/P : 5,6 & 8 LUGS

The rims are 16X8, Offset of +10mm like the ranger's stock wheels, and it has a 5 lug pattern.
