I am about to bid on a cd player out of a 2002 explorer. Will this fit my 1998 explorer? i want to make sure before i get it. thanks

Just go with an aftermarket deck! It would save you a bit of hassle.

Most likely.

I took a cd player from a 99 ranger and put it into an 96 ranger.

All youll need is a wiring harness.

How much is it? Are you against an aftermarket deck? if not I would consider one. You can get a decent cd deck with more features than a stock one for not a lot of $$$.

Just remember with a hacksaw, a little WD-40 and some electical tape anything will fit anywhere.
