My 1999 Explorer XLS died two days ago.
1. Checked for spark - good
2. Checked for fuel at the Fuel Inj rail - no
3. No sound from fuel pump
4. Circuit breaker - good
5. Solenoid - replaced
6. Replaced the fuel pump and filter
7. Now I have fuel at the Fuel Injector rail, depress the schraeder valve and fuel sprays out
8. Tried to start by using Fast Start through throttle body and it started and when the Fast Start was used died again.
9. Connected OBD2 and there is no synchronization with the cars computer(no connection) Tried it on another vehicle and OBD2 works there.
Could the computer be at fault? Should I look elsewhere?
